The County Championship 2024 is reaching its final stages, and players are giving their all to help their teams compete for the title. Some of our Gulf Giants stars have also delivered standout performances in the latest round. James Vince, along with new additions like Tom Curran, Daniel Worrall, and Adam Lyth, have impressed us with their skills. We are excited to see them keep up their form in the remaining matches and get ready for the upcoming ILT20 season.

Here’s a quick look at their performances in the County Championship:

James Vince: 57 & 44 vs Worcestershire

Hampshire’s captain, James Vince, played brilliantly in the match against Worcestershire. After coming in to bat at 19/2, he partnered with Nick Gubbins to rebuild the innings, putting up a solid 129-run stand. Vince scored 57 off 102 balls, hitting four boundaries, helping Hampshire reach 462. In the second innings, he added another 44 from 82 balls, though Hampshire was bowled out for 204.

Daniel Worrall: 4/39 & 4/34 vs Durham

Daniel Worrall was outstanding for Surrey against Durham, taking 4 wickets in each innings. In the first innings, he took 4 for 39, including key wickets like Alex Lees and Chemar Holder. He followed it up with another 4-wicket haul in the second innings, helping bowl Durham out for 262 and 177. Surrey went on to win by 10 wickets.

Tom Curran: 2/33 vs Durham

Tom Curran also made his mark in Surrey’s victory over Durham. He grabbed 2 important wickets in the first innings, dismissing Emilio Gay for a duck and then sending back a set Bas de Leede, who had scored 36. His efforts helped restrict Durham to 262.

Adam Lyth: 46 & 55 vs Glamorgan

Adam Lyth showed great form for Yorkshire in their match against Glamorgan. In the first innings, he scored 46 off 71 balls, hitting 8 fours and a six, helping Yorkshire post 361. In the second innings, he continued to impress with 55 off 72 balls, again finding the boundary 9 times and clearing it once, contributing to Yorkshire’s total of 273.
